The incident happened in the Marlay Park in south Dublin this morning.

A JOGGER WHO suffered a heart attack this morning is recovering in hospital after a quick-thinking bystander performed CPR.

The runner was in south Dublin’s Marlay Park when they collapsed. Luckily, CPR was given and an advanced paramedic was able to use a defibrillator when they arrived shortly afterwards.

The bystander was able to give the emergency services their location while CPR was being performed.
